You can customize your base in the 'creation mode'. You can also build your base of operations in the general area of the map where you'll start playing. You can also create maces, spears, axes, knives and much more. These materials can be used to build your home's walls and floors, or even a work table or a fireplace. You can collect wood, stone, scraps, and a bunch of other raw materials.
One of the key aspects of Dawn of Zombies: Survival after the Last War is that, much like other similar games, you'll have to collect resources and craft new weapons.
